Nap - Falcon Eight (6:10 Ascot)

Unless there has been significant rain overnight I can't see Trueshan lining up for this so my fancy would be Dermot Weld's runner who revels in the longer distance races and with Tom Marquand onboard he's certainly got a jockey in form.

Next Best - Rohaan (5:00 Ascot)

Have to be honest and there's a certain amount of sentimentality behind this selection as his form this year has been a shadow of his former self. He won this last year carrying top weight and will have to do so again if he's to regain his crown. Needs to find that devastating burst of pace at the furlong pole but if he does then he wins.

Outsider - Diligent Harry (4:20 Ascot)

Not progressed as much as I would've liked following a very impressive year as a 2yo. Maintains enough ability to suggest he's well overpriced, even in such a high quality race.
