The Thursday Nap: 13th Apr

With some top quality racing on the opening day of the Aintree festival my best bet of the day is going to be in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle

Now the obvious selection here is the superstar that is Constituon Hill but at such a poor price there is no value in that. There may however be some value to be had and the one I like here is Epatante.

Skybet go 9/4 for CH to win & Epatante to finish 2nd and given she has chased home her stable mate a few times before, she could well do the same here. Zanahiyr is probably the main danger unless we see a huge shock so I'd be happy to take the 9/4 on offer, sit back & hopefully watch the superstar do what he does but have one eye firmly on who follows him home
