The #OddsKnows NAP: 5th Nov

Updated: Nov 5, 2022

We are now very much moving to the National Hunt season and we'll be re-starting our winter tracker again from this week.

And the first Saturday NAP of the winter season comes from Aintree in the Grand Sefton at 2.11pm. We've had quite a bit of rain up in the north west this week and conditions today are going to be soft although the going report does suggest it may be good to soft in places. This should play in to the hands a bit for my pick Spiritofthegames who should like the softer ground and who also has key course experience here having run in the Topham back in April (finishing 5th).

There were a few mistakes that day but he settled in to it and that experience could prove vital today as he tackles the Aintree fences once again. He also had a nice run out at Fakenham a couple of weeks ago, finishing 2nd over 3m and staying on well that day so the drop back here to 2m5f shouldn't see any problems and trainer Dan Skelton should have him tuned up and ready to go today.

There are a few dangers in the race with the likes of Al Dancer & Broken Halo who should go well and Two For Gold ran well here in the Grand National so could be interesting back down in trip. At around 13/2 our charge looks good value and for the more cautious there are some generous each way places available. Let's hope we can kick off though with the win!

Good Luck and don't forget you can check out more from me plus all our other racing features here on The Cheeky Punts this weekend

Good Luck whatever you are backing and remember, always gamble responsibly

Past Results

Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we are back on track and nicely in profit from the weekend NAPs again with a much better showing since the turn of the year

Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!

That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!

And overall from Apr21 to date we have a total of £470 staked with a return of £858, a profit of £388! Even with a slower return over the winter, that's still a healthy looking profit over 11 months from the #OddsKnows NAP

And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
