The #OddsKnows NAP: 1st Apr

I have taken a bit of a break on the Saturday NAP over the last few weeks and last week we saw the really sad new as Tone the Barone unfortunately suffered a fatal injury. Our thoughts are with the connections who have lost a real favourite amongst many AW fans

On to this week though and I'm sticking with the all weather as the flat season kicks off at Doncaster but it's quite a difficult day to call there. So this weeks Nap comes from Kempton and I'm going for Naval Commander in the 2.40pm

He's had a few runs at Kempton before so should be at home with the track given his last 5 runs have all been here! That run includes a pretty solid looking 2nd LTO over todays trip in a better class. He was only just caught that day but looks open to improvement and he is still relatively lightly raced and I think he is primed to land a decent one here

The draw is a slight concern as he'll come from stall 9 but he could well drop in and set up a strong finish with Kieran O'Neil retaining the ride, a partnership that did so well LTO

Hopefully we can land a nice aw win and start a nice new run for the Naps in the new flat season
