The Hot Picks: Easter Monday
We end the bank holiday weekend with our final hotpicks on another big day of football. The EFL takes centre stage after some cracking games over the weekend so far & hopefully we can end it with a winner
Easter Mondays Hot Picks
We start in League One with playoff chasing Peterborough who've been in good form of late & they host Exeter here. The travellers have tailed away this season & dont really have anything to play for here so the home side will be pushing for the 3 points in a very tight battle for that final playoff spot. They've won 4 of the last 5 so come in to this in form & look good value
Into League Two & it's tight at the top here as well and Northampton can continue their automatic promotion push against a resurgent Gillingham. A good run of late has seen the Gills pull away from the relegation zone & they should now be safe but this looks a tough ask. Their away form has been a problem all season so they could struggle here again
And last up we stick with League Two and another promotion chasing side with Carlisle. They go to Walsall on the back of a good win on Saturday which sees them currently sitting 3rd in the table so the pressure may be on them a little but Walsall sit mid table with little to play for.
