The Hot Picks: 2nd Apr
Our little venture north of the border last weekend fell short as Annan let us down on the treble. This weekend though we have a full fixture list back so we have another tasty treble as we go again this weekend
And this week we are back on the English leagues starting off with Boro who travel to lowly Peterborough. Middlesboro still have a chance of a playoff spot so will be gunning for all 3 points here whilst the Posh have struggled this season and look destined for the drop. An away win looks on the cards here
Next up it’s Sunderland who are at home to Gillingham. The home side are also pushing for a playoff spot in league one here but have proved very inconsistent (again) this season. I think they should have too much for the Gills tho so I’m going to stick with them even though it’s a little shorter than I’d like
And last up it’s Port Vale who travel to Burton and I think they look over priced here. The Vale top the form table taking 13 points from a possible 15 and they currently sit 4th in the table, automatic promotion is by no means out of reach for them. Barrow have flirted with the foot of the table but I think they’ll probably be safe. Their poor home form has been the story of their season so I’m happy to take the away side here at a tasty looking 23/20
The treble pays just over 4/1 and I think we should have a great chance to land a nice little win here. Good luck
