The Hot Picks: 27th May
Updated: May 26
Our first venture over to Japan for the J1 league produced a couple of draws but did give us a few good pointers for the weeks ahead as well. So we're going to go again for another Japanese treble this week and see if we can find us a winner
And just as a note, the first 2 games kick off early Saturday morning with the final game early on Sunday
Saturday's Selections

The Verdict
We start with Kobe this week who host FC Tokyo and the home side top the table and are unbeaten in 6. Home form is always key but maybe just as importantly it's worth noting Tokyos away form, just one win on the road from their last 6 games. I'm taking Kobe to secure another win here & kick start our treble
Also on Saturday I'm going with Hiroshima, at home again, to Shonan. Again here we have a poor traveller with Shonan not having won any of their last 8 and are actually without a win at all in 9. And they have a pretty poor record here in the head to head so I think Hiroshima, who haven't been in the greatest of form themselves, can get a much needed win in this one and pile the pressure on Shonan
Making up the J-League treble it's a Sunday game with Yokohama at home to Avispa. Last seasons champions Yokohama have started this season in good form again & look set for another strong season ahead as they currently sit 2nd (behind Kobe) in the table. Their home form is solid with 4 wins & 2 draws and they can add to that here. Avispa are actually without an away win so far this season and have only picked up 3 points (of their 20 in total) on the road so this looks a tough ask for them here
Good Luck & let's hope we're celebrating a hotpicks win from our latest league
