The Hot Picks: 22nd Oct

The big game of the day sees Preston go to Blackpool for a local derby (which I'll be at) but as Ghandi always says, don't back the early kick off!

So the hotpicks come in the 3pm games and we start with Barnsley away to Morecambe in League 1. The home side look in for a tough season and already sit bottom of the table, and they have only picked up 2 points at home this season! Barnsley sit in the playoff places and so I think this should be another 3 points for them here.

We go to Leauge 2 for our other 3 selections and we start with Mansfield away at Crawley. Once again the home side here sit near the foot of the table and take on a playoff chasing side so the 3/4 looks a good price for Mansfield

Tranmere aren't at the top end of the table but they do top the form table with 5 wins from 5. It looks like it may be starting to click for them so they can add to that run here and pick up another 3 points At Harrogate

And last up it's Swindon who take on bottom placed Hartlepool. Again it's a playoff chaser vs a relegation candidate and I think the home side will be strong here and can add to Hartlepools troubles on the road, which has seen them pick up just 2 points from a possible 21!
