This weeks Hot Picks

We start in the Championship with promotion chasing Middlesboro. With just 8 games to go, Carricks team are looking to push Sheff Utd for the second automatic promotion place and have been hot on their heels for a number of weeks now so they'll be desperate to pick up another 3 points here against lowly Huddersfield.

The home side desperately need the points too down the other end of the table, sitting 3rd bottom, so this won't be an easy game but with Boro's front line firing on all cylinders I fancy them to come out on top

In to League One next and Peterborough are chasing a playoff spot themselves so still have plenty to play for here. They host Oxford who have been in free fall of late, picking up just 2 points in their last 10 games, so they should have too much for the travellers who now look in real danger down the bottom

And completing our treble this week we end in League Two as Northampton take on Stevenage. Earlier in the season it looked like Stevenage would be the team to beat but their recent form has been alarming and has actually seen Northampton go above them in to 2nd.

A run of 3 straight wins for Northampton sees them coming this in to this as the form side & they look the more likely of the two now to secure an automatic spot. Another 3 points here will certainly help with that push & with home advantage, I think they can make it 4 on the spin
