We have a returning regular guest of ours returning this week as Racing Tic Tac is back so let's see his thoughts for the day
15.00 Warwick FORTESCUE 20/1 EW 4pl
Fortescue ticks a lot of boxes for this marathon race over 3m5f. A strong stayer at 3m who now finds himself down to last winning mark which came in February last year having been pulled up LTO in the Welsh Grand National. He needs forgiving that performance which came in the first time cheekpieces but I don’t believe he was ever given a hard time out the back and that will probably been in the back of connections mind when running.
Henry Daly’s yard are going well with some winners recently and it wouldn’t surprise if this one was to get involved and the soft ground at the moment will be perfect for him. Hopefully the 2lb dropped from LTO will see him get more competitive this time, he has the form to be.
14.40 Kempton DUBROVNIK HARRY 8/1 & RATHMACKNEE 18/1 & MARK OF GOLD 28/1 EW 6pl
3 selections based on looking at previous trends of this race. I was successful in this race last year with Cobblers Dream who is back to defend his crown, however it would usually pay to go with a less exposed runner such as himself last year when 10lb lower than today.
Looking at previous winners, Nicky Henderson has won 3 of the last 10 and Gary Moore has won it 3 times in the past but not since 2007.
Both of my selections fit the bill although MOG has shown his hand perhaps more than Rathmacknee. But I wouldn’t ignore him at the prices.
These 2 have low racing weights here, both of those are strong travellers and likely to be well suited to the pace of this big field.
Dubrovnik Harry is another who ticks a lot of boxes and is more prominent in the market. He reverts to hurdles here after not taking well to fences on his reappearance. Unexposed himself with a low racing weight he can get competitive.
13:45 Lingfield TYGER BAY 7/2
13.30 Kempton SMARTY WILD 5/1 & KITTY LIGHT 12/1 EW
14.25 Warwick GREY DAWNING 7/2
14.32 Wetherby CAPTAIN ZEBO 11/1 EW

Our site is 100% free with no sign up required so to view your tips, people will simply need to go to our website. We will also create a custom link for you which you can then share on your own social media channels
Why are we doing this I hear you ask, the answer is actually a simple one. We have a fully functioning website but little content through the week. This means the weekly traffic is very low but it costs us the same regardless. We do also benefit, to be totally open & transparent, as this will help drive more traffic to the site for when we do all our weekend features too (which you would also be invited to join)
So if this sounds of interest & you’d like to become part of The Cheeky Punts team, helping us grow and offer the best free site around, the drop us a line via our social media channels or you contact us via email on firstname.lastname@example.org
