This week we have not one but two new guest tipsters joining us and giving us their thoughts for the weekend and first up we have Freddie from Ricos Tips.
Lets have a look at what Freddie fancies for this Saturday
Hello, my names Freddie and I own Ricos tips and info premium whatsapp group and Facebook group of the same name. It's my first time doing a guest slot for The Cheeky Punts and I couldn't be more excited. I've picked out 3 races and boy are they cracking races to choose!!
The first race I've gone for is the Paddy Power Irish gold cup, and what a field we have running. The reigning gold cup holder in minella indo, the ever exuberant frodon and an old favourite from the Willie Mullins yard in kemboy are the three market leaders. I have a sneaking suspicion that minella indo is a better horse at Cheltenham and after being pulled up in the King george LTO, it's not for me. Last year's winner kemboy represents Willie mullins but I would fancy Willie's other runner more, asterion forlonge, if I could guarantee it could stay on his feet, which unfortunately I can't, so that brings me on to my tip for the race.
The paul nicholls trained FRODON. He's an old favourite of mine, since he won the King George a couple of years ago and one thing you can be sure of is that he will run through a brick wall for you. He has a great relationship with Bryony Frost his jockey and Paul's last three runners he has sent over to Ireland have all won. So that will do for me, all that said he's been well found in the market at around 3/1. Hes a 2 point win bet for me.
My second bet of the day comes in the last at Punchestown and the Goffs future star NHF race. We have the ante post favourite for the Cheltenham champion bumper running here in Facile Vega, for the Willie Mullins stable and boy was he impressive in winning his first start and the second has come out and won since so the form has a solid look to it. But at short odds he's not for me, and the one I'm interested in is THE BIG DOYEN, a 15, yes 15 length winner LTO when beating an odds on shot from the Gordon Elliot yard. The yard haven't been shy on what they think of this horse and all reports this week couldn't of been more bullish about his chances if they tried. So at around the 6/1 chance he's a 1 point eachway bet for me. Just in case the Willie Mullins horse is out of this world and we should be placed at the very least!!
My third and last bet of the day we go too Lingfield where I like one in the 4.00pm race, the Betway Kachy stakes. The one that's caught my eye is the David Evans trained ROHAAN. I couldn't believe how much this horse improved last year winning up to group 2 level on the grass. His last four runs have all been at the highest level, group one, and this represents a massive drop in class down to listed level. Last time he ran on the all weather he was running and winning off a mark of 91, today he has a mark of 113. That just shows the improvement he has made. At around the 11/4 mark I'm more than happy to back him. I would have him as clear favourite in my book. So he's a 2 point win for me aswell. His main market rival is good effort who I thought was a tad disappointing LTO when favourite for a class 2 race at odds of 2/5 and could only manage 3rd. So I'm happy to pass him over for ROHAAN.
We'll guys they are my 3 tips for today and good luck if you are following me. I've put my link to my Facebook group at the bottom so if you aren't already then come join us on there.

So just to recap our three bets are
2 POINT WIN
THE BIG DOYEN
1 POINT EACHWAY
2 POINT WIN
So a total of 6 points outlay guys. Cheers Freddie.
Good Luck to everyone today and lets hope we have a few winners from Freddie
