This week we have a returning favourite of ours as TicTac Racing (@RacingTicTac) loooks at the best of the flat for us

14.05 Kempton FOXES TALES

Ran a huge race to finish 3rd on comeback LTO behind Lord North who went on to win the Dubai Turf. Varians horse was in front but was closer to the action and FT stayed on to press him all the way for the runner up spot.

Returns here and Oisin Murphy takes over, fancy the longer straight here at Kempton to suit. If he has come on for that, then he has the form to feature in this race from a handy draw.

Picked two from either side of the draw here and be interesting to see which one it favours over the straight mile. Arthur’s Realm won the race last year is 8lb higher this time round in a deeper field but goes well on soft ground and clearly likes the track. Ran well in their behind a couple well fancied for the Lincoln in September off similar mark over this C&D so could still well be competitive here.

DIRTYOLDTOWN looks a progressive type and now 4yo could still well be on the up. Goes well on soft ground and though he has not won over the trip, he could well be stronger now and ready for that step up.

14.40 Kempton MILLION THANKS

Ran a huge race LTO over C&D and though up 3lb would have a major chance here if he can repeat the form. Good topspeed figure and best on that card. Trainer has a 35% SR with 4yo + at the track 14 wins from 40 runners +18 and this horse is his only rep. Has gone well of higher marks in past for Kevin Ryan and it could be that trainer has found the key to him here.

15.00 Donny KINGS LYNN EW 4pl

Looks a decent price in each way contest. A G2 winner last year over 5f and dropped to Listed class here albeit a competitive one. Runner up on previous run here over C&D and on soft ground. He has come to hand early the last couple of seasons and it may well be the time to catch him, though he is up against some progressive types here.

18.30 Chelmsford PRENUP 3/1

Competitive look to this race on paper but happy enough to go with Prenup who is only 1lb higher than for her victory LTO.That was her first start for the trainer and first for 158 days. Very keen early on after jumping awkwardly but keeping on well to beat the subsuquent winner from last weekend So Chic. A good performance to win considering also she had to come fairly wide rounding the final bend, she steps up in trip here to 1m which looks the right move after hitting the line strongly having taking the running up a furlong out, even though fresh and rushed up early on it looks quite lenient to me that she has only been raised that 1lb and is no doubt in a good place for new trainer Jane Chapple-Hymn who has a profitable record at the course.

Little observation, she ran over the same C&D as Sharvara in that LTO victory and she was 0.8secs quicker and carrying 3lb more. She carried 9st 11lb and conceded 21lb to So Chic who was the only one who come to her when she hit the front. Again she won next time out so the form is solid. If she has come on for the run, improvement is likely and another big run looks assured

20.00 Chelmsford IGNAC LAMAR 13/2 EW

He won in January off 4lb lower and then went off 6/4 and 9/4f the next twice off 1lb higher than today but ultimately disappointing though one effort was over 7f and it appeared to stretch him.

He has dropped a grade for this run and creeps in at top of weights, in what is his easiest handicap assignment to date - a 0-70 albeit with 9st11lb on his back. He likes to get on with things, and this track could suit him especially as he is drawn in stall 2. Another positive is the yard has struck form now and he could be in a better place. He can be competitive here if he can get somewhere close to the pace and stretch them off the bend.

Want to have a daily platform to post your tips? Then why not come and join us as a daily racing tipster (Monday to Friday). We also have regular guest tipsters if you wanted to join us without the full time commitment and spots are usually open for a Saturday on both the football and the racing

Our fully developed site is ready to go so there is no setup from you required, you will simply become a member of our team as a contributor and have a daily post which you will be able to update with your own daily punts which will then be visible for everyone to see online.

Our site is 100% free with no sign up required so to view your tips, people will simply need to go to our website. We will also create a custom link for you which you can then share on your own social media channels

Why are we doing this I hear you ask, the answer is actually a simple one. We have a fully functioning website but little content through the week. This means the weekly traffic is very low but it costs us the same regardless. We do also benefit, to be totally open & transparent, as this will help drive more traffic to the site for when we do all our weekend features too (which you would also be invited to join)

So if this sounds of interest & you’d like to become part of The Cheeky Punts team, helping us grow and offer the best free site around, the drop us a line via our social media channels or you contact us via email on
