The All Weather Racing Preview: 21st Jan
Updated: Jan 21
This weekend we have a dedicated look at the winters All Weather action as we have racing from Lingfield & Southwell and then Wolverhampton under the lights tonight
Our man #OddsKnows takes a look at the best of all the action for you on The Cheeky Punts plus don't forget to check out the latest across all our racing pages
The Skybet money back race now comes from Lingfield and Al Agaila is the hot favourite for this one but I am going to take a bit of a punt on Morgan Fairy at a more attractive price of 6/1. The William Haggas trained 4YO won LTO over a mile but the step up today (to 1m2f) shouldn't be an issue and top jock Tom Marquand takes the mount. Purple Ribbon also looks a huge danger and I expect the top 3 in the market to be at business end of this one

Earlier in the day we I really like Rocking Ends in the 12.27pm in a pretty competitive looking race. This smart looking 3YO won last time out and the form has been well and truly franked with a few winners coming out of that since, including Glorious Angel who won yesterday up at Newcastle (actually finishing 4th behind our charge LTO!). With continued progress 3/1 looks a nice price here

Next up is my cliff horse again and a NAP from a couple of weeks ago with Obsidian Knight back out in the 1.37pm. He should be in the mix again here and is generally pretty consistent and we have that man again Marquand doing the steering. With 5 places on offer he looks a solid each way play.
Another each way play, again with 5 places on offer, is Poetic Force in the 2.12pm. Mollie Phillips once again is in the saddle and will be looking for another big run having won LTO (over C&D). 10/1 looks a good each price and worth a cheeky punt.
Over at Southwell and I'm going to take on another shorty in the 2pm where Kings Gem will be looking to repay the favourite backers having come home 2nd when well fancied LTO (at evens fav) The extra furlong today may help today but Evolicatt has had some eye catching runs of late and chased home the impressive Pocket the Packet LTO having hit a bit of trouble in running. Youngster Jordan Williams is onboard again today and with a bit more luck, I think he can go close here

And last up from me at Southwell its the 3.15pm where I am going to take a risk on the new comer Mma Ramotswe. The breeding looks good on paper but as its the first time out for her she will need to settle so I'd ideally like a touch bigger than the current 4/1 on offer if possible. The market is headed by the Karl Burke Winter Melody who could be anything and Just a Spark who has had a run already, finishing 4th when coming from off the pace at Wolverhampton. That experience may be the difference but I'm happy to take the risk on our charge
