The £4£ King New Years Banker

The £4£ king is back in action this weekend with 3 bumper selections for you to fill your boots on.

I’m going to start the New Year with a bang on the £4£ double with a very cheeky punt. Crewe are on a good run of late and after picking up their first away win of the season in their last outing I’m going to back them to come out on top against an inconsistent Burton Albion who haven’t played since the 11th December. At this level the lads are no where near as professional as they are in the prem so I’m backing the Burton lads to have had a good Christmas.

My second pick in the first £4£ double of the year is Oxford. They have been excellent at home in 2021 and are in good form sitting 5th in the table. Cheltenham have a few returning from Covid but this is a firm test for them and I fully expect Oxford to turnaround the away defeat at Cheltenham earlier in the season. I’m on a medium sized bet for this one mainly due to the Crewe result not being a dead cert , so £25 @ 7.67 pays a nice £191 return. A bit of value in this one for a bit of risk, come on, let’s get after these bookies and kick off 2022 with a bang.

Now onto my £1000 challenge. The aim is to turn £100 into £1000 via a series of sequential bets. My first £100 lump is on Forest Green to beat Stevenage at home. Forest Green are in good form and to be quite frank Stevenage are dog shit. £100 @1.57 on the Exchange pays a £57 profit and looks good value, if all goes well thats £157 for the next bet on Sunday.

The £4£ double tomorrow on the horses is Christopher Wood in the 14:10 at Musselburgh and Stormy Ireland in the 15:10 at Cheltenham. All aboard on Betfair who are paying out a nice 25/1. Boom.

Have a great 2022 people and make sure you follow the £4£ bets and all my fellow tipsters at The Cheeky Punts.
