As a bit of a bonus for us our man #OddsKnows takes a look at the best of the Sunday action here for you on The Cheeky Punts with the final day of the 3-day Lingfield meeting and a couple of races from Warwick.
So starting with the 1.20pm in what is actually the money back offer from Skybet and we we have a couple of market principles in Fameafterglory and Ballygriffincottage but I am going to take them both on with what I think looks much better value in High Stakes at 8/1. He did fall last time out at Newbury but prior to that he made a solid start to his hurdling career with a 2nd at Ayr having won a bumper last season. This looks a tough ask but conditions should suit and he could go close for us.
At 1.50pm I am sticking with a horse that really caught my eye when winning at Newbury back in November and I'm hoping we can put a line through the run last time as that came just 7 days after that win and looks like it was too soon to step up to grade 1 company. War Lord looks the chief danger and is probably the worthy favourite but our boy can hopefully give him a much better challenge this time out today.
Later in the day its the 3.35pm and I do like Pemberley in this one but I think the value here could be Laskalin for the in-form Williams and Deutsch combo. He is around 6/1 and could be good each way value as he is a bit of an unknown over this trip but one thing we do know if trainer Venetia Williams knows how to train a stayer
And in the last at Lingfield I'm going to go with Global Agreement. He won here last month and then went in again LTO at Wetherby, both times on heavy going, and looks like a step up in trip will suit. Shearer looks the big danger here in a pretty competitive looking finale and a good case can be made for a few in this one
At bigger prices I've also picked out a few cheeky punts for the day starting with that money back race in the 1.20pm. Dom of Mary is about 20/1 and could outrun those odds and looks a decent each way play.
And in the 3.35pm Skybet have 5 places on offer so I'm taking a speculative shot on Seaston Spirit who should handle the conditions and was a touch unlucky when being pulled up last time. He did win in January last year and had arguably his best runs at that time of the year so he's worth a small each way play
Up the other end of the betting we have a few shorties in and I do like Brewin'upastorm (2.25L) & Dashel Drasher (3.00L) as a bit of a double and I think both have very strong chances
Over at Warwick and its just the 2 for the day and I'm going for an Olly Murphy trained double with Fearless in the 1.40pm and Washington in the 2.50pm. Fearless looks a winner in waiting and I think he can take this one today. The 2.50pm also sees a favourite of mine running from the The Owners Group in Barrichello but I think shouldering top weight here today goes against him. Washington however looks on a fair mark and could have more to come so looks worth siding with
Lets hope its a Super Sunday for us and we follow up with a few more wins today
