#OddsKnows Racing Preview: 6th May
As usual we have our weekend preview with and we have classic flat action today coming from Newmarket plus racing at Goodwood & Thirsk. Uttoxeter is the action over the sticks this afternoon before evening racing at Doncaster on the flat and Hexham over the jumps
Our man #OddsKnows takes a look at the best of all the action for you on The Cheeky Punts plus don't forget to check out the latest across all our racing pagesĀ for the day
We start at Newmarket where it looks a cracking day of racing and I'm sure plenty will be tuning in for the big classic of the day, the 2000 Guineas. You can find all my picks for the day on the Placepot here but I've also highlighted below a couple of the key ones for us all
Starting with the Skybet money back race which comes in the 2.15pm. I'm siding with Perdika here as one of only two 3YO's in the race and they typically do well here winning 4 of the last 5 runnings of this. George Bougheys filly looks pretty smart and the booking of Buick makes it one to note and in a competitive looking race, I'm happy to have a cheeky punt at that price with the offer of the money back

The big race of the day though is of course the 2000 Guineas and Auguste Rodin comes here having won the group 1 fruturity at Doncaster and looks the class act in the field. However, I am sure there will be plenty of support for Chaldean who despite shipping out Frankie a few weeks ago at the start, still comes in to this with a very live chance.
With it being Frankie Detorris last ride in this race as part of his season long good bye, who could write him off to go out with another classic to his name!

Over at Goodwood and away from the main event, Maghlaak looks the type who could be a big improver this year so a chance is taken on him to make it 2/2 on turf

And in the 3.45pm Tuddenham Green can finally get a first win on the flat having been running in better company and being far from disgraced. This looks an easy task for Alan Kings charge
Latstly it's up to Thirsk and in the 3.10pm Vespasian hasn't much turf experience but has been consistent without really winning on the all weather so may be a good each way play at around 6/1

In the 3.40pm we have 15 due to go to post but the one I like here is Pisanello. He was 3rd here last year and does generally go well fresh plus we have the youngster Mark Winn onboard who takes off 5 which I think puts him on an attractive looking mark here
Good Luck whatever you are backing and don't forget you can follow me
