#OddsKnows Racing Preview: 24th June

Updated: Jun 24, 2023

As usual we have all our weekend previews with the action this Saturday including the final day of Royal Ascot plus we have racing from Newmarket, Ayr & Redcar. The summer jumps come from Ayr with an evening of flat action at Haydock and Lingfield

Our man #OddsKnows takes a look at the best of all the action for you on The Cheeky Punts plus don't forget to check out the latest across all our racing pages for the day

You can also check out my Saturday NAP here as well as all the racing writers NAPs for the day here.

There's also todays ITV7 selections here for all the best for Royal Ascot and you can also find our Placepot Picks for Haydock here for the evening action

After a week of big priced winners it is worth a cheeky punt on a few for Saturday so I've picked out my each way Lucky 15 for the day with a minimum odds of at least 22/1

Sayedaty Sadaty looks overpriced to me in the opener and was only just beaten LTO by Lightning Leo (who is 9/1 here today) so is worth a shot as is Zoology in the 3.05pm. He actually beat today's favourite Covey on the all weather back in April and was far from disgraced LTO when fourth in the Group 3 Grennham

The Aussie raider The Astrologist looks to have a lot to do here but has picked up some pretty valuable place money on a globetrotting year so far and if he can replicate the good 2nd from his Meydan run earlier this year then he could make a place here.

And last up I was torn between My Wagyu, who was my Nap two weeks running but failed to deliver so it would be typical of the racing gods if he wins today when I don't pick him, and Bielsa. I'm just siding tho with Bielsa and it's mainly due to that man Murphy being in the saddle. I think he could have a good draw up in 25 and that side should see the pace and on his day our boy has every chance of being bang in the mix at a decent price

Away from the Royal meeting there is actually some pretty decent 'undercards' for the day so my best of the rest starts at Newmarket with Seal of Solomon in the 3.17pm with the talented James Doyle onboard (surprising as I expected him to be at Ascot). We then head over to Redcar for the 4.02pm where I like Squealer who is down in grade and has a good draw for this 5f sprint

Over the sticks up at Perth I'm going with my old faves of Hughes and McCain with Presentandcounting who can land this for the champion jockey (and king of the north!). Sticking up in the north we finish with the 4.14pm at Ayr and Novak looks the one to beat here. Jockey William Pyle is 2 from 2 on him and looks to have a great chance of making that 3 in this one today

Good Luck whatever you are backing and don't forget you can follow me

on Twitter @KnowsOdds where we will have more throughout the day
