As usual we have our weekend preview for you with the action this week coming from Haydock, Goodwood, York and Musselburgh. For the evenings fans, we've got Lingfield on the all weather and jumps action too from Stratford
Our man #OddsKnows once again takes a look at the best of all the action here for you on The Cheeky Punts and don't forget to check out the #OddsKnows Nap which you can find here as well as all the latest from our days picks on our racing pages
We start as ever with the Money Back race from Skybet and this week its the 1.45pm from Goodwood to kick us off. This looks quite an open looking race with a few who could well be in with a chance but the one I like here is Evocative Spark who comes in to this on the back of a good win at Beverley. He does go up for that win but he's looked to be very much on the up since joining the George Boughey yard so that rise looks manageable. He does have a high draw to contend with but with a couple of non runners in this now and a strong pace likely, 6/1 looks a good price with that insurance of the money back
On to the main racing of the day now and I've gone for a couple from each today and we continue first with Goodwood. In the 3.25pm Lone Eagle is a very warm order favourite but I am going to take him on with Third Realm. The fav hasn't been seen out for 10 months so I'm hoping the freshness of our charge, who was 3rd at Ascot 2 weeks ago, will give him the edge.
At 4pm I'm going with Crema Inglesa for the Osbornes who has won before on heavy going so todays ground should hold no fears. He was a very solid 2nd LTO 2 weeks ago, behind a 3 time Godolphin winner and only beaten by a head, and a repeat of that type of run should see him bang up there for this one
Over to Haydock next and my 'local' track. The weather has been pretty horrific the last few days and we've seen some really heavy showers so I was a little surprised to see it called as good going for today, I would be surprised if it isn't at least a touch on the soft side. That shouldn't be enough though to stop my first pick Bandinelli in the 2pm for Godolphin. James Doyle is onboard as our charge reverts back to turf after a few wins on the AW. He has won here at Haydock before as well so I'm expecting a positive ride from the Doyler.
My 2nd selection at Haydock is Go Bears Go in the 3.10pm. This looks a tough race to call with Flaming Rib and El Caballo looking obvious dangers for this competitive looking G2 affair. Rossa Ryan takes the mount on our charge and was also onboard LTO when winning the G3 at Ascot last month. He's taken here to follow up with another bold showing
On to York next and in the 2.55pm we have a mad 5f dash with a few of the usual suspects lining up for this one. The vote here though goes to Look Out Louis who is usually pretty consistent and won at Chester last time out making it 2 wins from 4 this season. He can go close again here and may even be an each punt at around 13/2 for the more cautious
In the 3.30pm its a tentative vote for Silence Please in a very tight looking one but she was badly hampered last time out when having a first run for the Andrew Balding yard. She was well fancied that day so I think she can make amends here and get off the mark for the new yard here at the 2nd time of asking
For those who like the bigger prices I've also gone for one each way punt from each of the 3 courses for today with some big odds, each way punts. Dancing Harry at Goodwood, Mondammej at Haydock and Obee Jo at York. For the brave/crazy out there, the treble pays a whopping 25,000/1+
We also have action today up at Musselburgh so I've gone for my NAP, NB and IWAC for a bit of interest. Nathanael Greene is the NAP and looks to have a great chance of taking this one and in the 3.38pm Alpha Cru looks to have a decent chance. At a bigger price my cheeky punt is The Retriever who could have a place chance at a decent price
Good Luck whatever you are backing and don't forget you can follow
