#OddsKnows Racing Preview: 11th Mar

Updated: Mar 11, 2023

As usual we have our weekend preview first up with the action coming from Sandown and Ayr (Hereford is off) plus the all weather action from Wolverhampton and then Chelmsford under the lights

Our man #OddsKnows takes a look at the best of all the action for you on The Cheeky Punts plus don't forget to check out the latest across all our racing pages for the day

We start up north of the border with action up at Ayr and there's just one I like here and it comes in the 1.35pm. Ninetofive comes in to this one for trainer Sandy Thompson with the yard in decent form (2 wins from 7 runners over last 2 weeks) and the expected softer ground shouldn't be an issue. He still looks to have potential despite disappointing when going off favourite last time but could well come on again for that run and get that first win here

Over at Sandown the 1.50pm looks a wide open affair but I do like Henri the Second for the maestro Paul Nicholls. The sole hurdles win so far was actually here in a grade 2 and he may have conditions to suit again here and with Nicholls having a decent record here I think he could well be up there

In the 2.25pm the Imperial Cup is another that looks quite competitive but I'm going to go with the Skelton charge Playful Saint. He is an 8YO but still looks relatively unexposed but he won well LTO on heavy ground so he looks a solid each way shout as a minimum

And last up at Sandown I like Golden Whisky in the last at 4.45pm. He should revel if it cuts up throughout the day and any more rain would probably add to his chances.

The Skybet money back race is on the AW this week and I really like the look of this and a case can be made for a number of these. My money though is going on Cuban Breeze with Oisin Murphy in the saddle. He has a decent draw and plenty of ability so with a bit of luck in running I think he looks worth a cheeky punt at a decent price

Sticking with Wolverhampton and in the 2.05pm Lincoln Trail Outbreak looked a very smart sort when beating Notre Belle Bete last time out (when we had him as our nap!) but I think he could have the beating of him again here today. And in the 2.40pm I think Oisin Murphy can land another with Berkshire Shadow. He is on a long losing run and is untested on the all weather so it's a slight risk but there's enough to suggest that he can be competitive here

Good Luck whatever you are backing and don't forget you can follow me
