#OddsKnows Racing Preview: 10th Dec

As usual we have our weekend preview with action this week coming from Cheltenham, Doncaster and Hereford (weather dependent) plus the all weather action from Newcastle and then Wolverhampton under the lights

As we have lost the cards at Cheltenham, Doncaster and Hereford we have an all weather Saturday to go at so I've had a look through the Newcastle card and picked out a few selections for the hardcore race fans today

Skybet have switched the money back race to the 2.19pm and we have a short priced fav in Intricacy who is one of the few with a run to his name coming in to this. I'm going to take a punt though on Nazymbek from the Roger Varian yard. He has a decent pedigree and comes from a top yard so could be the value punt at around 10/3

There are a couple of short favs through the day but my pick of the day at a more backable price is Sugar Baby in the last of the afternoon at 5pm. He just missed out last time out (beaten by a short head) over C&D and actually drops down in grade here so should get a bit of redemption and land the spoils. 5/2 is a bit short in a competitive looking field but I think he should be the class act in the field and can take this one

At a bigger price my each way play for the day is going to be Golden Rainbow in the 3.28pm. He won over 5f here back in October but he has run over further so I dont think the 6f here today is out of the question as he won with a bit in hand that day. At around 11/1 and with 5 places on offer with some bookmakers, I think he could be worth a cheeky punt

I also have to give a shout to Cloch Nua in the 1.09pm where local trainer Stella Barclays consistent 3YO can give another bold showing. He won here back in October and hasn't been out of the top 2 since (another win and two seconds) so should be bang up there again

Its a shame we've lost the National Hunt cards but hopefully we'll have racing back next week. And for now its all eyes on the football so COME ON ENGLAND!
