The start of the flat season didn't give us a first flat winner but we go again this weekend with another Saturday NAP here on The Cheeky Punts
It's always a bit of a tricky time around this time of year as we have that awkward cutover after the Cheltenham festival and the start of the flat season. And despite the curtain raiser on the flat last week with the Lincoln meeting at Doncaster its actually all over the jumps this Saturday and it looks like it could be a tricky day.
The big meeting of the day is up at Ayr with the feature being the Scottish Grand National (and you can see my thoughts on the day here on my weekly OddsKnows preview) but it's actually at Newbury where I am looking to for this weeks #OddsKnows Saturday NAP.
This is one for the old boys as the veterans battle this out over 2m7f and the one I am going for here is First Figaro. He has been in really good form of late and comes in to this bidding to complete a hat-trick of wins following a couple of decent runs at Doncaster and Leicester. The first of those came after a near 12 month layoff but the break seems to have worked wonders for the Venetia Williams 12YO who has looked in the mood and last time out was a wide margin winner (winning by some 14 lengths).
Despite those 2 wins he still looks fairly well treated and young Ned Fox rides again having partnered for both those wins. Bermeo looks a lively challenger but the forecast rain on Friday means we should get good to soft going which will suit our charge and he can make another bold showing here and land the 3timer and get us back to the winners enclosure as well
Good Luck whatever you are backing and lets hope we can all bash the bookies again and land a few nice wins to take us in to the Aintree mini festival next week.
Don't forget, you can now sign up to get my Saturday NAP direct to your email EARLY every weekend for FREE so you never miss a Nap. Just click on the below and sign up today
Good Luck whatever you are backing and remember, always gamble responsibly
Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we are back on track and nicely in profit from the weekend NAPs again with a much better showing since the turn of the year
Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!
That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!
And overall from Apr21 to date we have a total of £470 staked with a return of £858, a profit of £388! Even with a slower return over the winter, that's still a healthy looking profit over 11 months from the #OddsKnows NAP
And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
