We are back after a break last Saturday following the Cheltenham festival and there are still plenty of big races to come over the jumps the next few weeks including the Grand National mini festival and some top action from Punchestown over in Ireland at the end of April
This weekend though we have the official return of the flat season with the traditional opener, the Lincoln from Doncaster. So for this weeks Saturday NAP it seems only fitting that we go to Doncaster and the flat runners.
And this week I am going for a runner in the Spring Mile at 2.25pm. It is a competitive looking affair and it can always be a little bit tricky at the start of the season to find the winners as many horses are coming back from a layoff however my pick here is Mostawaa who actually had a couple of non eventful runs on the all weather over the winter. The form line that catches the eye here is the 3rd in this last year when beaten by less than a length off a rating of 89. He comes in to this down to 83 and interestingly trainer Heather Main has just the one runner here and has a fantastic return when just one goes to a meet
He should be sharper for those runs over the winter and the very talented Silvestre De Sousa takes the mount for this one, and I think he could have a big season this year.
Empirestateofmind looks a real danger here under Jason Hart but he was last seen out back in October and A Boy Named Ivy also looks to have slipped to a potentially handy mark so this does look a tricky one and with 4 places on offer, our charge could also be an each way shot for the more cautious. I'm in for the win though and hoping its the start of a winning run on the flat for the summer. All aboard...

Good Luck whatever you are backing and remember, always gamble responsibly
Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we are back on track and nicely in profit from the weekend NAPs again with a much better showing since the turn of the year
Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!
That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!
And overall from Apr21 to date we have a total of £470 staked with a return of £858, a profit of £388! Even with a slower return over the winter, that's still a healthy looking profit over 11 months from the #OddsKnows NAP
And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
