#OddsKnows NAP: 22nd Jan

Updated: Jan 22, 2022

So after a few shit weeks we got back to winning ways as Stag Horn romped home for us at a lovely 9/2 after being well backed (returned as 10/3 SP). Hopefully a few of you got on

On to this weekend and with all the talk of the day all being the heavyweight clash of Shishkin and Energumene in the Clarence House at Ascot, the Nap also comes from there but in the much earlier 1.45pm where we have a nice looking handicap hurdle over 2m3 and what I think looks a very lively shot at 4/1

So this week I am going with that popular pairing of the Skeltons who run Unexpected Party. Harry Skelton has said he feels this is his best ride of the day which is a big shout when he also has Mollys Ollys Wishes in the 2.20pm which was a pretty warm order favourite!

Our selection today won with quite a bit in hand at Wetherby back at the end of October and Harry was a bit disappointed to not follow that up when 2nd LTO at the same track. Sandwiched between was a 2nd to Gowell Road at Cheltenham (when Bridget Andrews took the ride) so with Harry back on board for us on Saturday and conditions looking like they should suit our charge and his big, strong travelling style I think he can get back to winning ways and land us another nice priced NAP

The Jonjo runner Garry Clermont ranks the obvious danger and Smurphy Enki looks a decent each way shot at 9/1 but they should be fighting for the minor honours behind our boy.

Lets hope we make it back to back wins to get that Cheltenham pot bulging for March

Past Results

Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we got back on track and remain slightly in profit from the weekend NAPs

Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!

That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!

And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
