It wasn't to be last weekend despite a bit of gamble going on the NAP as it failed to land. It turned out to be a bit of a gamble on Hurricane Ali but unfortunately he finished more like a mild breeze rather than a hurricane! On to this week and the wind could play a part again as storm Eunice batters the UK but as it stands, the Saturday cards go ahead so lets see if we can find a winner for this week. Hopefully we can keep building that pot for the big week at Cheltenham which is getting closer and closer now
With a few decent looking races around I've had a good look over the cards for the day and there are a few I like the look of a few at the main meets of Haydock and Ascot And for the NAP it's going to be from Ascot and its in the 4.10pm for good looking 2m7f over the hurdles. 15 runners are due to go to post for this one and the Saturday selection from these is Art of Diplomacy at a tasty looking 11/2 This 6YO who has been on the up of late, winning at Ludlow and Catterick with a 2nd at Hereford in between from his last 3 races. Stamina could prove the order of the day with the wild weather we've been having and our charge should have plenty here having won over this trip and a touch further as well. He has gone up of late for those wins but young Cillin Leonard takes the mount so takes a handy claimer off. And the youngster looks a good booking, his own record for the last 14 days is 2 wins from 6 rides, a 33% strike rate which isn't too shabby. It's even more impressive when you look and 2 of those rides (which didn't win) were big outsiders at 50/1 and 100/1. It could be a tricky day, and we may even lose Ascot completely, due to the weather but our charge here can certainly go close and give us a good run for our money.

Good Luck whatever you are backing and remember, always gamble responsibly
Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we are back on track and nicely in profit from the weekend NAPs again with a much better showing since the turn of the year
Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!
That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!
And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
