#OddsKnows NAP: 12th Feb

Updated: Feb 12, 2022

We got back to winning ways again last weekend as Peejaybee romped home for us at 3/1. That made it 3 wins from 5 selections so far in 2022, £50 staked with a return of £145.

So hopefully we can keep building that pot for the big week at Cheltenham

This weekend doesn't look great to be honest although there are a couple of good races over the course of the day. The main action of the day comes from Newbury with a decent looking card at Warwick too.

For my NAP though I am going to look to Uttoxeter and its in the 1.58pm I'm going for. This week we are going for a bit of a bigger priced NAP that is currently 7/1 (at time of writing). Skybet are actually paying 4 places on this race as well so the more cautious could look to the each way play. I will however be going for the win!

So this weeks bigger selection is Hurricane Ali who comes in to this down the bottom of the weights at just 10-7 and ran well enough when last seen at Doncaster a few weeks ago. He was behind a few smart ones that day and he shaped as though he could well be on a handy looking mark, his last win actually coming here at Uttoxeter back in May last year off a touch higher.

There are a number of dangers in the race with Notre Pari for trainer Olly Murphy and Ulverston for champion jockey elect Brian Hughes easy to make cases for but generally I don't think this looks a particularly hot contest.

Our charge should go well and can take advantage at a track he has plenty of experience of with the youngster Alan Doyle taking the mount, and claiming an extra 7lb too

I don't expect another easy winner like we have had recently but at 7/1 this looks well worth a cheeky punt.

Past Results

Its been a slower process since we moved to the jumps with winners proving difficult to come by in the run up to Christmas but we are back on track and nicely in profit from the weekend NAPs again with a much better showing since the turn of the year

Between April and October we were just over £340 in profit to a £10 weekly stake on the weekly #OddsKnows Saturday Nap which is more than doubling your money!

That's a whopping 61 points returned from 27 points staked and an average winning price of just under 9/2. So you wont find any shitty short priced favourites here!

And its all free for you every weekend here on The Cheeky Punts.
