We hope everyone is enjoying the festival as we hit the half way stage having already seen plenty of fantastic racing. Constitution Hill hosed up before Honeysuckle made a fitting farewell on day 1 and then yesterday we saw Langer Dan land the Coral Cup for the English as the Skeltons got the big prize.
Delta Work made it back to back wins in the cross country although I've still not forgiven him for beating Tiger Roll last year! And in the Grand Annual Masksada was the biggest price winner of the week (so far!) at 22/1
We go again now for day 3 and as ever we have plenty for you here on The Cheeky Punts
Check out our Cheltenham Tipping Competition
There are plenty of hot favourites today and I think you can make a case for a lot of these today.
Of the ones to oppose I'm willing to take on Shishkin and I'm a big fan of Envoi Allen who I'd love to see land a big prize for the Blackmore/De Bromhead combo again. At around 10/1 I'll take that as the each way punt.
Looking for the bigger prices, and we do have plenty of big fields again, to hopefully find a bit of each way value I'm going to go for two biggies with the extra places on offer
In the Pertemps at 2.10pm we have 8 places on offer and with the weather as it is I'm hoping this brings Green Book in to play. Trainer Venetia Williams loves a good stayer in the rain and whilst this is much deeper than he's been before, he could outrun his odds here
And then in the 4.10pm I'm going for another big priced outsider with Stolen Silver. He is quite high in the weights now so this will be tough but with 7 places on offer, and a decent record here at Cheltenham, he could be decent each way value. At the top of the field I'm also a huge fan of Il Ridotto so will also be having a cheeky punt on him as well
I'm also going to be joining the daily placepot, which you can find more on here, so here are my selections for the day.
Good Luck and we hope you all enjoy another great day of racing
