All aboard the Money Train one more time

Updated: May 8, 2022

Last weekend we fell agonisingly close again as we got to the final leg on the £10 to £100 challenge before both teams let us down, we went for the over 2.5 goals and both games finished 1-1. We managed to take our stake again so it wasn't a loss but we still haven't hit that jackpot jet. Can we do it this weekend?

For those who didn't follow last week we will go 2 bets on Friday night, 2 again on Saturday and then 2 again on Sunday with the aim of turning £10 in to £100. Bets will be posted here on the day so you can follow it all and jump on the money train with us here on The Cheeky Punts

Bet 3 Sunday

We are on to the final day again with our weekend money train and once again we’ve taken our initial £10 stake out so it’s all about landing the profit today

Leg 5 is over in France as Lyon take on bottom placed Metz. The home side look all but certain now to be relegated so I think Lyon will put the final nail in that coffin today and confirm it. Metz already look a beaten team so we can hopefully make it to the final leg with this one kicking off at 12pm

And hopefully bringing us home we go with the prem game between Arsenal and Leeds where we are going for both teams to score. Leeds have struggled a bit for goals of late but they really need a result here but so do Arsenal. I’m hoping this makes for an open game and Arsenal have been conceding quite a few of late even when winning so I think we have a great chance

Bet 2 Saturday WINNER

Barrow are safe for another year but the visiting side Northampton have all to play for with them needing a win to seal the final automatic promotion place with plenty of teams stacked up behind them ready to pounce. I’ll take the 4/6 that says they can

And over in Holland for another over 1.5 goals bet as we look to Groningen at home to Sparta Rotterdam. This should have a few goals in it with Rotterdam desperately needing a win to have any chance of staying up. Hopefully both can take us on to day 3 again

Bet 1 Friday WINNER

So we start on Friday with bets 1 and 2 with Monaco first up. They have been on a really good run, top the form table and can still make a late push for the 2nd Champions League spot, 19/20 looks a good price to carry on that good run

And for bet 2 its the game from Italy as Juventus travel to Genoa. The home side sit 2nd bottom & have conceded a lot goals this season so we are going for quite a conservative over 1.5 goals for this which should go well with our bigger price for Monaco

All aboard as we look to land that £100 jackpot this weekend

Last weekends challenge

Bet 3 Bank Holiday Monday

We’ve withdrawn our initial £10 stake again as we look to complete the £100 money train on Bank Holiday Monday with Wrexham in the National League & Atalanta in Italy and we’ve gone for goals in both with over 2.5 needed now to land us our £100 profit

Can the money train make it home for us this weekend after falling at the last hurdle last weekend. Jump on board & let’s see if we can do it this time

Bet 2 Sunday WINNER

We are on to bet 2 aa we look to line up the final push for day 3 on the bank holiday Monday. And taking us there we have Inter who are still challenging at the top of the table so will be up for this one today. And over in France we are going for over 1.5 in the Lorient game, this could be a bit tighter but im hoping there will be plenty of goals in this

Bet 1.1 Saturday WINNER

The Spanish game let us down again last night so we’ve gone for a reload today to try to get the train back on track and start a new run but end on Bank Holiday Monday. As a note, Sunderland is a 12.30pm kick off today so get on early

Bet 1 - Friday (LOST)

We kick off the latest money train with Sevilla in La Liga who are at home to Cadiz. The home side will be looking to all but seal a champions league spot so they still have plenty of motivation for this one whilst Cadiz are just hovering above the drop zone. The home side should be too strong here tho so can help us get off to a solid start. The second half of bet 1 is back with our old favourites over in Turkey. Fenerbahce top probably can’t catch the league leaders but they are usually pretty strong at home and they are also the leagues top scorers. This should have goals in it and I expect the home side to win so the 10/11 will help get us a nice pot to take on to bet 2 tomorrow

Good luck and all aboard the money train!!
