How the betting looks

Our view

A lot has been said after the first fight between these two and AJ has come in for a lot of criticism from some points and some of that has probably been fair. AJ seemed to try to outbox one of the most gifted, and experienced, boxers who’s technically up there with the best but he is a cruiserweight really stepping up and the tactics just didn’t work for AJ. Usyk is favourite to take this again and it’s hard to see how to stop him as he really does look a class act.

Usyks speed and boxing brain was simply to good last time & the smart money is on an Usyk win on points at 13/5 although Hills go 6/4 for him to win by a stoppage. I can see it going to the latter stages and if AJ does gas out, he could well get stopped late on

The former champ tho has changed his team for this one & I hope we’ll see a different AJ this time round. Many have completely written him off but if he can put it on Usyk & use his strength & weight advantage then he has more than a punchers chance for me. Usyk was cut up & bruised after that first fight and as many have said it was far from vintage AJ

That showed to me that he can hurt the Ukrainian and I’d love to see the Brit do it and then setup the unification we all want to see. Fury vs AJ with everything on the line would be fucking epic!

So whilst the heart says AJ, the head, and the value punter in me, says Usyk to take it with a small play on rounds 8-11. On this one tho I’d love to lose my money if it means getting to see the Battle of Britain for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion of the world!
